Privacy

You may browse Bet This Guy without creating an account. If you register, we process your email address, optional display name, saved settings, saved props, tracked picks, wager amounts, odds, results and account timestamps so those features can sync across your devices.

Authentication is provided by Supabase. Bet This Guy does not receive or store your password. Google and Apple may process information under their own privacy policies if you use those sign-in options.

Our hosting, authentication and sports-data providers may process ordinary technical information needed to deliver and secure the service, such as IP address, browser information, request time and requested page. Live odds and statistics are supplied by third-party data services.

Site statistics

To see which parts of the site are used, we count page views and a few actions (such as adding a pick to the bet slip or sharing it) as anonymous daily totals. No cookies, IP addresses or personal identifiers are stored for this. A “visited before” flag stays in your own browser so we can tell new visits from returning ones, and we count which kind of site a visit came from (for example Reddit, X or Google, or typed in directly), never the full web address. We also count visits by US state or by country (for example “Texas: 12 visits today”), using the location our hosting provider estimates for each request; only the daily total is kept, never your IP address or anything that identifies you.

Partner links

If we show a partner link (for example to a fantasy or sportsbook app), we use the approximate state your connection comes from, as provided by our host at the time of the request, only to show offers where they are legal. It is not stored. We may earn a commission if you sign up through a partner link.

Pick alerts

• Phone and browser alerts: we store the push address your browser gives us (it does not identify you) and the sportsbooks you picked in Settings, if any, so we can notify you when a new official pick posts or one of your sportsbooks has a good-value price. Turning alerts off deletes them.
• Email alerts: we use your account email and the sportsbooks saved in your settings to tell you when new official picks post or one of your sportsbooks has a good-value price. Emails are sent through our email provider (Resend), and every one has a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also turn them off in your account.

What we don’t do

We do not sell personal information. Account data is used only to provide saved settings, personal tracking and security. Device-local data may remain in your browser until you clear it or import it into an account.

Terms of use

• You must be at least 21, or the legal gambling age where you live, to use betting-related features.
• The product is for information and entertainment. Nothing displayed is financial advice, a guarantee or a promise of profit.
• Odds can change, suspend, or be incorrect. Verify every market, price and restriction directly with a licensed operator before acting.
• You are responsible for following the laws where you are located and for using only lawful, licensed services.
• Bet This Guy may change, suspend or remove features and may correct inaccurate information at any time.

Accuracy and methodology

“Verified market” means a fresh market supported by the connected multi-book odds feed. It does not mean the recommendation is guaranteed, independently audited, or profitable. Market edge is an estimate compared with a no-vig market baseline. Results are recorded separately for individual props and parlays, and a meaningful sample is required before performance claims are made.

Player history is supplied by BALLDONTLIE and filtered to regular-season and postseason games for NFL profiles. First-touchdown order cannot be inferred from ordinary box scores and is labeled accordingly.

Prediction apps

Some picks are for prediction apps such as Novig, ProphetX, Kalshi and Polymarket, where a bet is a contract priced as a chance (60% means you pay 60¢ to win $1). These picks have their own public record, separate from our sportsbook picks, and are graded at the app’s price after its fee. Fees come from each app’s published fee pages (for example, Novig: no fee on pre-game single bets, 0.10 × P × (1 − P) per contract on parlays; ProphetX: 2% of net winnings on single bets) and can change; check each app’s current fees before you trade.

Availability changes often and differs by state and app; some apps are 18+ and some 21+. Each app checks your location and eligibility (see where you can bet). Bet This Guy only shows apps listed for the state you choose or that we detect, which may be out of date. An app’s own rules decide how it settles a contract (for example, when a player doesn’t play), and may differ from how we grade the pick.

Data providers and affiliate disclosure

Odds and market prices are supplied through The Odds API. Player statistics are supplied through BALLDONTLIE. Bet This Guy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any sportsbook or prediction app unless explicitly stated.

If sportsbook or prediction-app referral links or paid partnerships are added, they will be labeled clearly next to the link. A paid relationship will not change the market data or the ranking methodology.

Responsible play
